200 Telegram channel and group name ideas

A Telegram channel has two names: the title, up to 128 characters and free-form, and the username, 5 to 32 characters, letters, digits, and underscores, unique across Telegram. The title is what people read. The username is what they type and what search engines index at t.me/username. Below are 200 title ideas by niche, followed by the checks that matter before you commit to one.

Both the channel name generator and the group name generator produce drafts from a niche word. Neither prints "available" for a username, because only Telegram can say that, and a tool that claims to is guessing.

The checks before you commit

Does the username exist? Open t.me/yourname in a browser. If it shows a profile or a channel, it is taken. If it shows "If you have Telegram, you can contact", it is a user. Only an empty page means free, and even then Telegram can reserve it. The username checker shows the live preview so you see what is there.

Does the title fit the limit? 128 characters for the title, 255 for the description, 70 for a bio. The character counter checks all of them.

Is it a brand you do not own? A channel named after a company you are not is the fastest route to a report and a takedown. Add your own word.

Will it survive a niche change? "Berlin Crypto Deals" locks you into three things. "The Ledger" locks you into none.

Names do not grow channels

A good name makes a channel easier to recommend. It does not add members. If the count is the goal, the honest picture of what that costs is on the public Telegram subscribers table, with tags and min and max on every row, and the honest answer for retention is in the zero-drop members explainer.
